A program, regarding the Receiving and Hangar Operations of the S-70A-28 model helicopters, procured by the Ministry of Defense (MoD) from Sikorsky for the requirement of the Turkish Land Forces (TLF), was started at TAI in June 1999.

The program covers:

Receiving inspections and assembly operations related to the performance of system tests and paints. 

Under the program, 51 helicopters, on which receiving and hangar operations were successfully completed, were delivered to TLF in June 2001.
