A “Purchase Agreement” was signed between TAI and Boeing-Irving for the production of Flight Deck Panels for B737 aircraft on 13 November 1998. BAE Systems Company, which bought Boeing-Irving Company on 13 August 2004, became the new customer of TAI.

The B737 Flight Deck Panels manufacturing program set a model to TAI in terms of lean manufacturing implementations. As a result of improvements achieved in B737 manufacturing activities, this approach was diversified to manufacturing and assembly activities of other programs.  Under the program, presently, 11 sets of B737 Flight Deck Panels are being produced.
