F-16 Modernization Project - Serial Phase
  
  

The program covers the serial avionic modernization of 165 TUrAF F-16s.

The contract between Undersecretariat of Defense TAI was signed on 31 August 2009. The modernization of 149 F-16s will be performed by TAI at TAI facilities while the modernization of remaining 16 F-16s will be performed by 1.MMC in Eskişehir under TAI’s supervision. The modernization activities will be started in October 2010.
